Heaven, Earth and Man Luck

Heaven Luck (天運, Tiān Yùn)

Heaven Luck pertains to the destiny or fate bestowed upon an individual at birth. It encompasses the intrinsic conditions of one’s birth, such as family heritage, genetic makeup, and the astrological timing of birth. This aspect of luck is considered immutable and is believed to be predestined, delineating the cosmic blueprint of one’s life. It represents the energy you bring into this life from the moment of your birth. Although we cannot change this luck, we can significantly impact our life through cultivating Earth Luck and Man Luck (explained below).

Earth Luck (地運, Dì Yùn)

Earth Luck denotes the influence of environmental and geographical factors on an individual's existence. This encompasses the Feng Shui of one’s residence and workplace, the natural landscape, and the broader environment. Through the application of feng shui principles, it is believed that one can enhance and harmonize these surroundings, thereby exerting a favorable influence on one’s life and well-being.

Man Luck (人運, Rén Yùn)

Man Luck represents the fortune generated through personal endeavors, decisions, and conduct. It involves one’s diligence, educational pursuits, industriousness, mindset, and interpersonal relationships. Man Luck encompasses our actions, choices, and decisions—such as maintaining a healthy diet, exercising regularly, dedicating ourselves to learning, and practicing daily meditation. Man Luck emphasizes that while certain aspects of life are predestined, individuals possess the agency to shape their destiny through their actions and choices.

Interrelationship

These three types of luck are interdependent and collectively shape the tapestry of an individual's fortune. By understanding and harmonizing these three dimensions of luck, individuals can aspire to attain a more balanced and prosperous existence.
